Meditation time.

It is the Tibetan word ‘gom’ that is translated into English as ‘meditation’. But what does ‘gom’ actually mean? It means to habituate, to familiarize our mind with something that is positive.

Therefore, through meditation, a mind that was often stressed, that lacked concentration and clarity, that often experienced greed, jealousy, hatred, anger, and so on, can instead effortlessly remain calm, clear and focused, and naturally respond to anything with compassion, love, patience, generosity, and so forth.

Moreover, it is through meditation that our mind is woken up from its unawareness of reality, thus liberating ourselves from samsara, and further, reaching the enlightened state of a Buddha for the benefit of all.

Everybody without exception has the potential to change. Anybody who doubts this, has yet to meditate.
